RealSpine cervical spine models

Cervical spine training that does not end after one case. Anterior and posterior.

Two cervical models. RealSpine Cervical Anterior covers ACDF, corpectomy and disc replacement from C3 to T1. RealSpine Cervical Posterior covers decompression and fusion from the occiput to C7, with an integrated vertebral artery for active bleeding management. Each comes with its own base, and both run with your instruments and your imaging.

Occiput to T1 across the two models

Open, microscopic, exoscopic, endoscopic and tubular approaches

X ray, navigation and RealImaging compatible

The RealSpine Advanced Myelopathy Anterior model, explained, Realists Training on YouTube, about 4 minutes.

The cervical model, in Realists' own words.

A Realists episode on the Advanced Myelopathy Anterior model: what is in the cartridge and what a trainee does with it. Four minutes, then the specifications below.

Two models

Pick the approach. The cervical spine model follows.

Each model comes with its own RealSpine System COMPACT base and works on its own. Buy the model your program trains on, and reset the cartridge for the next attempt.

Anterior access

RealSpine Cervical Anterior

The anterior cervical spine from C3 to T1, built for ACDF, corpectomy and artificial disc replacement with the implants your team uses.

Level

C3 to T1

Procedures

Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF), anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion, cervical artificial disc replacement

6 corpectomies, 5 discectomies and 5 disc replacements per cartridge, plus anterior cervical fixation procedures

Approaches

Microscopic and exoscopic, tubular endoscopic, open

Pathology

Cervical myelopathy

Bleeding

Passive bleeding only. No pump on this model

Works with

Fusion and fixation systems (implants, cages, spacers, plates and screws), drilling, X ray, navigation, RealImaging

Runs on

RealSpine System COMPACT base, shipped in the US with the model

Part

PRO235

RealSpine Cervical Posterior model on its base

Posterior access

RealSpine Cervical Posterior

Occiput to C7 with cervical myelopathy at C3 to C6 and an integrated vertebral artery, for decompression and stabilization with bleeding that has to be managed.

Level

Occiput to C7

Procedures

Fusion, flavectomies and laminectomies, bilateral decompression, bleeding management (open and endoscopic)

Up to 6 procedures per cartridge

Approaches

Open, microscopic, exoscopic, endoscopic and tubular posterior approaches

Pathology

Cervical myelopathy, C3 to C6

Bleeding

Active bleeding management from the vertebral artery, driven by the Fluid Pumping System

Anatomy

Vertebrae occiput to C7, intervertebral discs C2 to C7, spinal cord and nerve roots C3 to C6, ligamentum flavum, interspinal and posterior longitudinal ligaments, capsular ligaments of the facet joints, ligamentum nuchae, epidural fat

Works with

External navigation, X ray and fluoroscopy, drilling and screws, Fluid Pumping System, RealImaging Lite and Advanced

Part

PRO401

Part of RealSpine 2026

Two cervical models. Each one complete on its own.

Cervical Anterior and Cervical Posterior each ship with their own base and work independently. Cervical Anterior shares its base with Lumbar Anterior Lateral, so a program that runs both buys one base. The lumbar, Full Modular and Deformity lines are separate products in the same RealSpine family.

“

RealSpine is such an excellent model, especially for training and education of spine surgery. This is expected to significantly ease the hassle of the expensive cadaver course for minimally invasive spine surgery, especially in the endoscopic field.

Questions we get about the cervical models.

Does the cervical model bleed?

Can we use our own instruments and implants?

Can we use fluoroscopy or navigation?

How many procedures fit on one cartridge?

What do we need to start?

Put your own instruments on the cervical models.

Anterior or posterior, in person or online. Greg brings the base and the cartridge you train on.
