Privacy policy

What this site collects, and what we do with it.

Updated October 5, 2026 after Realists' review. Final wording subject to approval by Realists AG and Realists USA, Inc.

Short version. realistsusa.com collects what you type into our forms, and, only if you allow it, analytics and advertising data about how the site is used. Nothing beyond essential cookies loads until you choose. We do not sell personal information. You can see, correct or delete what we hold about you, and you can opt out of targeted advertising at any time through Your Privacy Choices.

Who is responsible

Realists USA, Inc., 540 Enterprise Drive, Lewis Center, OH 43035, United States, operates this website on behalf of Realists AG (Realists Training Technologies AG), Heinrich-Heine-Str. 35, 04178 Leipzig, Germany. Questions about this policy and requests about your data go to privacy@realistsusa.com.

What we collect

  • Forms. When you request a demo, contact us or register interest in working with us, we collect what you enter: name, work email, the kind of organization you work in and, if you add them, company, area of interest, phone number and message. Submissions are delivered by email to Realists USA, Inc.
  • Analytics, with your consent. Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells us which pages are read and how visitors move through the site. It sets cookies and collects your IP address, device and browser information and the pages you visit.
  • Advertising, with your consent. The LinkedIn Insight Tag lets us measure our LinkedIn campaigns and show Realists content to people who visited this site. Under US state privacy laws this counts as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. It loads only if you accept advertising cookies, and never if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
  • Embedded video. Videos from YouTube are embedded in privacy enhanced mode and load only when you press play. At that point YouTube (Google) may set cookies under its own policy.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical access data such as IP address, time, browser and the page requested, for security and operation of the site.

Cookies and your privacy choices

Essential cookies make the site and the forms work and are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time through the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of every page, which also serves as our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control. Your choice is stored in your browser for twelve months.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing of your personal information. Advertising cookies will not load, whatever you select in the banner.

Do Not Track. There is no accepted standard for how websites should respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, so this site does not change its behavior when it receives one. It does honor the Global Privacy Control signal described above.

LinkedIn. To opt out of LinkedIn\'s own use of the Insight Tag data, reject advertising cookies here, or use LinkedIn\'s guest controls and, if you have an account, your LinkedIn advertising settings.

Why we use it

To answer your request and arrange a demonstration, to send you information you asked for, to operate and secure the website, to understand how the site performs and to measure and our advertising. For visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the legal basis is your consent for analytics and advertising cookies, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, and the steps needed to respond to your request.

Who receives it

Realists USA, Inc. and Realists AG, which may process your request from Germany. Service providers that host the website, deliver form submissions and provide analytics and advertising measurement (Google and LinkedIn for the tools named above), under terms that limit their use of your data. We do not sell personal information for money. The only sharing for targeted advertising is the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and only with your consent.
